having an author website, is it worth it?

To be honest, I have no idea with this one, as even though I’m always telling my students to have an author page I only just made mine! authorpageforeklea
I can’t think of a single reason that i hadn’t already done this other than pure laziness. It means I can send craft people my link, I can share my website with people who ask what I write about when I’m in a rush and even though it’s a free wix site it’s a lot more professional than a collection of etsy posts and amazon links.
